Join us as a volunteer for Indialogue Festival (21 – 26 November 2023) and be part of an extraordinary celebration of unique new work and the exchange of Indian-inspired arts and culture. Unite international artists with scholars, corporations, schools, and art and culture lovers in the picturesque cities of Ghent and Leuven (Belgium). Become our colleague for one week, filled with performances, engaging presentations, interactive workshops, and other forms of creative and cultural expressions.
We are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with various tasks before and during the event. In exchange, you will receive a complimentary event ticket and an invitation to our exclusive volunteer dinner. Participating as a volunteer in Indialogue Festival is an opportunity to co-create a memorable experience. Our collaborative, volunteer-driven approach is a key aspect of the event’s unique charm.
Some volunteer roles may require prior experience or specific skills, while others will be easily learned on-site.
Our volunteer selection process begins in June 2023, and we’ll be confirming volunteers on a rolling basis. You can expect to hear from Ayla or Laura, our lead coordinators, in September 2023.
All volunteers will have ample time to participate in the event, with an expected commitment of the hours as per their assigned tasks (which do not exceed 25 hours). Some roles, such as venue assistant, require specific time and location commitments, while others, like photography or videography, offer more flexibility.

We are particularly interested in volunteers who want to host artists, provide catering, want to drive around with artists, and social media enthusiasts (including photography, videography, and graphic design).
We can provide students with a certificate of participation. This can be used for internship purposes.
